Well, after this film, I still don't think he's a bad director, by far not. I also found parts of the dialogue really well-written and the scenes greatly executed, it's just that this is such an incomprehensible "Belle de Jour"-type story that I had to force myself to watch XD Sometimes I really like these purposedly confusing storylines, sometimes I rather dislike it. And here, the age of the characters and their weird way to talk (at least for me) didn't help. Aside from that, I am actually (somewhat randomly) interested in "Smoking/No Smoking" and I have to watch "On connaît la chanson" because it's on my <a href="http://www.naruhodou.org/choco/more-lists/" rel="nofollow">starting list</a>.
