It's more like it was subtly scary and this feeling of the dense atmosphere was still there when I went to sleep hours later... How can you dislike "A Clockwork Orange" when it's so... Kubrick? Music, culture, a fascinating main character and immense style; I think the movie just has everything including a complex and multi-faceted story. I was glued to the screen when I saw it the first time. Since "Paths of Glory" is a war movie I didn't expect to like it, but oh my God, I just skimmed over the story. I want to see it now! Oh God, I was so scared too – and it made no sense because it wasn’t even dark.
